A villager of Doyang, Wokha is being treated by 41 Assam Rifles of HQ 5 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) which organized a free medical camp.
Dimapur, December 28 (MExN): 41 Assam Rifles of HQ 5 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organized a free medical camp under OP Sadbhavana at Doyang, Wokha district, on December 22, 2011.The camp was organized with an aim to provide the villagers of the area with basic medical facilities. A total of 95 males, 109 females and 47 children were provided with necessary medical treatment and free medicines. The villagers were also advised on hygiene and sanitation by the doctor and his team. Emphasis was given on screening for TB, malaria and HIV. The villagers of the area expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for this humanitarian act.
