4th Biennial Women Conference of AGBCN underway at Singrijan

CHÜMOUKEDIMA, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): The 4th Biennial Women Conference of the Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) began on Friday at the AGBCN Mission Centre, Singrijan Village, Chümoukedima. The three-day conference, held under the theme “Global Vision for the Gospel,” will conclude on October 12.

More than 300 delegates and officials representing various Gorkha and Nepali Baptist Churches across Nagaland are attending the event.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr Igumpule Ndang, Women Secretary of the Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association, who delivered the inaugural address. The opening ceremony was performed by the Nepali Baptist Church, Walford.

The conference features Ambika Thapa Pradhan, Women Advisor of the Nepali Baptist Association Assam, and Dr Igumpule Ndang as the main speakers. Bible study sessions are being led by Utsha Rai Haokip, Youth Director of the Kuki Baptist Church Medziphema, and Manju Malla Pradhan, In-Charge Women Secretary of AGBCN.

Praise and worship throughout the conference is being led by the NBC Padumpukhuri Youth Department, while Monica Subba, Women Board Member of AGBCN, serves as the Camp Director.

Altogether, 33 Gorkha Baptist Churches from across Nagaland are participating in the conference, marking it as a significant gathering of faith, fellowship, and empowerment within the Gorkha Baptist community.
