Minister of PHED and Cooperation, Jacob Zhimomi kick starts the KASA Kükami Trophy at Sahoi Village in Niuland on November 23.
Niuland, November 24 (MExN): The 51st edition of the Khaghaboto Area Sports Association (KASA) Kükami Trophy got underway at Sahoi Village in Niuland district on November 23.
Speaking as the chief guest of the inaugural programme, the Minister of PHED and Cooperation Jacob Zhimomi stressed on the importance of employment and income opportunities beyond government service.
Highlighting that music and sports are platforms that are yet to be fully tapped in the state, he urged the youth to give it their all in the pursuit of success.
Stating that Naga youth always dream of big and instant success which often lead to failures, he emphasised on the significance of being patient while treading their career paths.
With the central government under PM Modi actively promoting sporting culture across the country, Jacob made a clarion call upon the youth to challenge themselves and rise to the top, maintaining that it would be the best way of giving back to society. The sporting event will be held from November 23 to 29.
