Volleyball and football matches at the ongoing 58th WAYO sports meet on January 24.

The 58th Sports meet 2022 of the Western Angami Youth Organization (WAYO) commenced here today at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
The meet was formally inaugurated Dr. Kedozeto Punyu, President, Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho as the special guest.
The inaugural programme was chaired by WAYO vice president Kuovipieto Siamvü while WAYO vice president (Sports) Neivikhoto Vielie delivered welcome address.
WAYO Games & Sports Secretary, Neingusalie Gwirie administered oath to the participating teams.
The participants are competing in football, volleyball, indoor games and athletics.
It will continue till January 25.
Meanwhile, Naga wrestling event will take place on February 8 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) with MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro as the special guest.
