Advisor TN Mannen IAS (Retd) with others during the 66th sports and literary meet of Longjang Students' Union at local ground Longjang.
MOKOKCHUNG, JANUARY 3 (MExN): The 66th sports and literary meet of Longjang Students' Union was held at local ground Longjang from December 27-30, 2024, with TN Mannen IAS (Retd), Advisor for Law & Justice and Land Revenue, Government of Nagaland as special invitee.
In his address, the Advisor, acknowledged the importance shown by the stake holders of Longjang village, especially the church, students' union and village council in improving the quality of education in the village.
He encouraged the students to develop their talents mentally and physically in the prime of their youth while maintaining the spirit of positive competition. He also asked them to participate in the four day student's meet seriously or else it will rather become a loss of resource and time for everyone.
Highlights of the programme included invocation by Senti Longchar, Pastor LBA, welcome address by Moarenba Longkumer, President, Longjang Students' Union and words of encouragement by Imtinungsang Longchar, Longjang Village Council.
Various presentations were also made during the cultural and literary competition where Longjang Students' Union Mokokchung were crowned the overall champion and Longjang Students Union, Dimapur adjudged the runner-up of the 66th Longjang Students sports and Literary meet.
