DIMAPUR, JULY 30 (MExN): The 6th Altrura Open Football Tournament 2024, organized by the Altrura Society (AuS) will take place from August 23 to September 3 at the Chumoukedima Town Local Ground under the theme ‘Excellence: Our Goal.’ This year, a prize pool of over 2.5 Lakhs has been announced, a significant increase. Teams will compete for top honors and the prestigious championship trophy, along with substantial cash prizes that recognize their hard work and dedication. The organizers invited all football teams, from local clubs to regional powerhouses, to participate. In a press release, Megosielie Kruse, President of AuS, and Ketousilie Meru, Convenor of the Organizing Committee, highlighted the main objectives and mission: to foster a love for sports, encourage healthy competition, and bring people together through various events and initiatives. Issuance of forms and dates of registration will be announced soon in the local dailies and social media platforms.
