Winners of the 6th Hornbill Darts Masters 2024
Kohima, December 12 (MExN): The 6th Hornbill Darts Masters 2024, a key event celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Hornbill Festival, concluded with an exhilarating blend of competition, culture, and entertainment. The Fun Tree Crew organized the event, which included the first Traditional Sports edition featuring Catapult Shooting, Spear Throw, and Zutho Darts.
The event was graced by Vevek Khandelwal, General Secretary of the Indian Darts Council (IDC), adding prestige to the grand finale held at The Heritage Old DC Bungalow, Kohima. A total of 86 players from Malaysia, Assam, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Nagaland participated across various categories.
The event venues were strategically set at Nagaland Olympic Association Office Complex for the Preliminary Rounds and at The Heritage Old DC Bungalow for the Grand Finale. Theja Kire hosted the Grand Finale, where performances by Susalho Ringa, Seyievinuo Chuzo, and DJ OIR kept the audience entertained.
Supported by the Government of Nagaland, the Tourism Department, and the Indian Darts Council, the event was efficiently managed by Gutouch Events. The event partners included Cosmos Darts, Dartskart, 2K Hotel, HIREATAB, Spectrum Printers, LifePro, Decibel, and Dynamic School of Darts (DSD).

Additionally, individual awards were presented for categories like Most 180’s, Best Leg, and Highest Checkout, with Aryaveer Chokhani, Sangam Kumar Roy, and Apurba Sha claiming recognition.
Fun Tree Crew emphasized nurturing local talent to ensure Nagaland’s presence on national and international stages, with hopes of darts becoming part of the Olympic Games in the near future.
