The 6th Inter-Department Badminton Tournament (Kohima Edition 2026) under the aegis of the Inter Department Badminton Club (IDBC), Kohima concluded on September 12 at NLA Indoor Stadium, Kohima.
In 50+, Retirees legislatures & Ex legislatures category, Department of Treasuries & Accounts, represented by Temsu Longkumer and I Aochuba Pongener bagged the champion title while Police department, represented by M Rhovisie Nyuwi and Uniel Kichu came second.
In the Mixed Doubles, Police dept, represented by Uma Tamang and Lamtingmang, emerged victories while the dept of Economics & Statistics, represented by Vikosieto Krose and Nchibamneu, claimed the second position.
In the Women’s Doubles category, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Represented by Ruokuotuonuo Rame and Repayangla Tzudir, bagged the first prize while Health & Family Welfare, represented by Khosalu Keyho and Nuvetalu Thirah stood as runner-up.
In the Men’s Doubles, School Education dept, represented by Kezhalezo Solo and Kevingulie Sote came first while Police dept, represented by Solomon C Anar and Immanuel Shohe, bagged the second title.
