Dimapur, Decembre 17 (MExN): As part of its Civic Action Programme 2025–26, the 173 BN CRPF organised a community outreach programme at B/173 BN CRPF, CIHSR Hospital, Chümoukedima on December 17.
During the programme, solar lamps were distributed to 16 needy families from Chekiye, Naga United, Unity Village, Diphupar, Mishikito, Senjum, Kuda Village, and Burma Camp, informed a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Chandra Singh, Commandant (AOD), 173 BN CRPF, highlighted the CRPF’s commitment to serving the community through such programmes, noting that they help bridge the gap between security forces and the local populace.
The event was attended by Ambar Ghosh, Dy Comdt; Akai Sumi, Asst Comdt; local village chairpersons and prominent citizens; civil police personnel; and members of the media, the release added.
