Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): Act of Kindness Society has announced the 7th edition of Magnum Opus on October 23 and 25 through online and offline live event mode.
The Managing Committee held its first meeting on September 30 at Acacia, Dimapur discussed the changes in the event this year considering the pandemic situation, a press note stated. Magnum Opus is organized to commemorate International Artist Day on October 25.
This Magnum Opus VII 2021- An Art & Music Festival will comprise of painting competition (offline) on the theme ‘Naga Folklore’ and managed by Artsy Naga. The registration fee is Rs 500. Stretched Canvas will be provided at the venue, Artsy Naga School of Fine Arts, Dimapur.
Best 10 artists will be selected for the ‘Out of the District’ competition at PK Shedu Resort, Manipur. The competition will comprise of mural and stone painting. For Registration Contact: +919366985748
The other events are Poetry Writing (Online), Original Song (Online), Photography (Online), Art Demonstration (Offline) by various Artists on October 23 at Artsy Naga School of Fine Arts.
Magnum Opus VII prize distribution & launch of Folk Short Story, ‘The Sky Bride & Other Tales Retold’ by Tialila Kikon will be held on October 5.
The last date of registration is October 15 and last date of submission of works for the online competition is October 20. The results will be declared on October 25.
