This year’s event included a bevy of challenges for individuals to participate in such as, cross-fit, tug-of-war, best physique and arm-wrestling for both male and female contenders.

“The main purpose of organising this was to have all the fitness lovers and the community come together and have fun; compete with each other and inspire the youths to live a healthy life,” shared co-founder of Nagaland Street Fitness event, Yanpvuo Kikon. At the same time, due to the changing lifestyles brought on by modernity where working at the desk and screen time have increased drastically, the event hopes to reinvigorate the people about staying fit he noted.
