7th Naga Chef in Kohima commences

The Seventh edition of Naga Chef began on November 18 at Mhachaki, Kohima. 

A first of its kind culinary skills competition in Nagaland, Naga Chef aims to support those who have the potential to promote Naga ingenious cuisine and provide a platform to the entrepreneurial Naga cooks who have the passion to showcase the delectable range of Naga food to the world.

Six Naga cooks who have been selected from the screening round will compete for the coveted title Naga Chef Season 7 and will also win a cash prize of Rs. 3 lakh. 

The six selected contestants are: Henchuba Chang, Peteneilhu Kulimbe, Viprenuo Keretsu, Chungmei Phom, Khrieketuo Thaprü and Nikhou Murry.

The judges for the event are: Rovi Chase, Alemjungla Jamir and Joel Basumatari.
The annual competition is organised by Synergy Group Enterprise and supported by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
