90,584 applicants on live register of employment exchanges in Nagaland

Altogether, 90,584 applicants remain on the live register of employment exchanges in Nagaland as on December 31, 2019.

This was stated in the annual administrative report 2019-2020 of the department of employment, skill development and entrepreneurs tabled on the floor of the House by Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio. Out of 90, 584, the number of male stands 61,446 and female at 29, 138.

Under categories of applicants, post graduates at 6889, graduates – 25, 363, pre- university- 13, 935,  matriculate- 15, 469, below matric- 26, 388, degree (tech)- 1843 and diploma- 692.

During the current year, 27, 317 fresh applicants have registered at various employment exchanges for job assistance.
