Head Hunters FC, Dimapur SC enter finals

Head Hunters FC (164 Naga TA) and Dimapur Sporting Club (Dimapur) today registered win in their respective semi finals match and entered the finals of the ongoing 9th Capt. N. Kengurüse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In the first semi final match, Head Hunters FC defeated Langsa Hill FC (Mon) 3-2. Langsa Hill FC opened strongly and converted their momentum early when Asezo struck in the 7th minute.
The equalizer for Head Hunters FC came through Haotimang in the 9th minute.
Laiwang netted the second goal for Head Hunters FC in the 19th minute.
Langsa Hill FC levelled the match again through Pangai just before halftime at 44th minute.
Head Hunters FC found the decisive blow as Laiwang completed his brace in the 59th minute, a goal that ultimately sealed their path to the championship stage.
Dimapur SC secured a crucial 2–1 victory over Lüshe FC (Phek) in the second semi finals.
Kuvezo opened the account for Dimapur SC in the 29th minute. Thulunso equalized for Lüshe FC in the 34th minute. Rhitsho netted the winning goal for Dimapur SC in the 48th minute.
With this victory, Dimapur SC advances to the grand finale, where they will face Head Hunters FC on November 6.
