Lüshe FC, Headhunters FC wins

Lüshe FC (Phek) and Headhunters FC (164 Naga TA) today registered win in their respective match on the second day of the ongoing 9th Capt. N. Kenguruse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Lüshe FC- 6, Auyang FC (Tuensang)-0
Lüshe FC produced a master class in attacking football to overpowered Auyang FC 6–0 in the first match of the day. From the outset, Lüshe FC looked in complete control, dominating 58.76% of possession and dictating the rhythm of play.

The scoring began early, with Tohika opening the account in the 11th minute.

Thulunso then stole the show with a hat-trick, finding the net in the 28th, 40+3rd, and 52nd minutes. Shovelo struck another goal in the 73rdminute, followed by Eneibe just five minutes later in the 78th, sealing a dominant victory for Lüshe FC.

Headhunters FC-14, Detroit FC (Chümoukedima)-0
Headhunters FC delivered a footballing spectacle as they registered easy win over Detroit FC with an astounding 14–0, asserting their dominance in emphatic fashion.

Right from the opening whistle, Headhunters FC showcased their attacking intent, maintaining an incredible 81.47% possession and dictating every phase of play.

The goals began to pour in early when Manton broke the deadlock in the 2nd minute, setting the tone for a long and punishing evening for Detroit FC.

Laiwang emerged as the star of the show, producing a sensational eight-goal thriller- finding the back of the net in the 8th, 17th, 36th, 38th, 50th, 69th, 79th, and 80+1st minutes, leaving the Detroit defence in total disarray.

The scoring continued as Chingsha added a brace in the 61st and 74th minutes, while Haotingmang, Zarenthung, and Visakho netted a goal each.

This tournament is organised by Assam Rifles in collaboration with Nagaland Football Association under the aegis of Op Sadbhavana, Spear Corps.
