Dimapur SC and Langsa Hill FC win

Dimapur SC and Langsa Hill FC (Mon) today registered wins on the third day of the ongoing 9th Capt. N. Kenguruse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Dimapur SC edged past Nagaland Police FC with a narrow 2–1 victory in the first match.

Rhitsho opened the account for Dimapur SC in the 13th minute. Limakumzuk of Nagaland Police equalised in the 70th minute, capitalising on a rebound to bring the game level.

In the dying moments of the match, Gaichui became the hero for Dimapur SC, slotting home the decisive goal in the 80+2nd minute.

Langsa Hill FC registered victory over Wokha District Ex-Servicemen League Club 6-0 in the second match of the day.

Vinato opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from the penalty spot.

Pangersunep doubled the lead in the 31st minute. Just before halftime, Eshong made it 3–0, calmly converting another penalty in the 43rd minute.

Ghuqhe added a fourth goal in the 49th minute. The relentless pressure continued, with Alei netting twice in the 62nd and 80+2nd minutes and confirmed comfortable win over the opponent.
There will be no match on October 25 and 26. The match will resume on October 27.
