Kohima, April 23 (MExN): The 9th edition of Kohima District Shooting competition 2026 will be on held on May 2 at Kire Farm (Chiin-Ca).
The event will be held under the aegis of Kohima District Shooting Association and to be conducted by Kohima District Rifle Association.
The 9th edition will feature 10m Air Rifle (Men & Women-Jr/Sr ), 10m Pistol (Men & Women Jr/Sr), 50m .22 Rifle Open sight (Open) and 40m (.177 caliber) Bench Rest.( Open).
The entry fee for the categories of 10m Air Rifle (Men & Women-Jr/Sr) and 10m Pistol (Men & Women Jr/Sr) has been fixed at Rs. 500.
Entry fee for 50m .22 Rifle Open sight (Open) category have been fixed at Rs. 1000.
Entry fee for the category of 40m (.177 caliber) Bench Rest.( Open) will be Rs. 2000.
Collection and submission of entry forms can be done both online and offline.
Entry forms will be available at Sports World , Kohima Town, Pfonuo Shop, DBS Junction, Kohima Village and Kitsu Pan Shop, D.Khel Kohima.
Last date of submission of entry forms alongwith entry fee will be April 30 before 4::00 PM.
In 10m competitions, there will be two categories - Junior 15 years and below, senior above 15 years.
Shooters who are selected in this competition will represent Kohima District Team in the up-coming State Inter-District Shooting Championship to be held in the month of June 2026, at Aries Sports Complex, Dimapur.
