The Global Watch Prayer Ministry (GWPM) - a mass reformation movement through silent prayer and fasting ministry founded by Dr HI Jimomi was formally launched on December 2 which was dedicated by Rev S Vitoshe Swu, Executive Secretary, WSBAK. The name Global Watch Prayer Ministry stand s for “Wickedness, corruption and conflict, - healing and transformation ministry. The ministry is to undertake regular prayer and fasting programme for healing and transformation of all form of wickedness, corruptions and conflicts amongst all section of people in the societies, nations and organizations so as to bring both spiritual and physical healing, transformation and reformation in the society beginning from a single individual home until it reach the entire globe to a desire level. It is basically an autonomous Christian voluntary ministry but open to everyone who feel the need and importance of healing and transformation of our people and land. Every one is invited in the ministry without any distinction of caste, creed, religions, status and nations as the wickedness, corruption and conflicts knows no barriers and boundaries. The GWPM will persistently and ceaselessly pray to God for His personal intervention in the lives of those perpetrators and afflicted individuals that He take care of their lives and intervene in their daily activities for the better. The like minded and dedicated members of the GWPM shall always strive to contribute her best for healing and transformation of our world through regular fasting, prayer and counseling programmes etc., and shall expand this ministry throughout the globe to the best possible extend to fulfill its aims and objectives for the extension of God’s kingdom as well as to transform the entire world into a ‘Global Peace Zone”.
Aims and objectives:
The GWPM is a God calling prayer ministry. It is an autonomous voluntary prayer ministry open to all those committed individuals who feel the urgent needs of healing and transformation of our people and land that is already inflicted with all kinds of wickedness, corruptions and conflicts which brings immense destructions, injustice, divisions, hatred and bloodshed into our society today. Inorder to fulfill the commitment and purposes of God’s calling, the ministry laid down the following broad aims and objectives as streamlined below:
1. To form a strong and permanent prayer partners (prayer warriors group) throughout the globe to begin a prayer and fasting mission for the healing and transformation of the inflicted society and people in the world through healing the wicked, corrupt and conflict perpetrators and afflicted individuals.
2. To fight against all forms of wickedness, corruption, conflicts and evil activities in our society and the world through fasting and prayer.
3. To remain watchful over “ourselves, other people and the world”, every moment, every hour, every day and throughout the year and pray for the needy without ceasing.
4. To advocate and encourage every home to set up one prayer room in their respective home to conduct daily regular prayer and fasting programme with their children and family members to begin real reformation through the individual at an individual home.
5. To set up prayer houses as much as possible at different locations and regions to enable those inflicted and needy to confess their sins before God through fasting and prayer and accept Him as his/her personal savior and to provide follow up counseling and prayer support to them.
6. To advocate God’s personal intervention in the lives of the perpetrators and inflicted individuals to enable them forsake their wicked ways, corruptive practices and bitter conflicts so as to bring healing and transformation to our wounded people and land.
7. To organize mass healing and transformation programmes at different sectors, regional and globally through prayer and fasting, counseling, seminar, workshop, crusade etc., anytime anywhere in the globe in near future.
8. To uphold and support one another among the prayer partners through prayer and fasting and to strive together for the rapid expansion and successful implementation of the aims and objectives of the ministry for the extension of God’s kingdom.
9. To fully trust and believe in God and fulfill God’s word that “All thing are possible in God, but through prayer and fasting” (Mathew 17:20-21).
10. To ceaselessly strive to watch and pray for the quick healing, transformation of entire humanity and global peace.
