Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan reaches Medziphema block stakeholders

MEDZIPHEMA, SEPTEMBER 20 (MExN): A Block-level Orientation Programme on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan Campaign was held at the Conference Hall of City Centre, Medziphema, on September 19. The programme was chaired by ADC Medziphema, P. James Swu.

In his address, the chairman explained the objectives and significance of the Abhiyan, highlighting its potential to benefit tribal welfare and grassroots governance. Block Master Trainer (CHC Medziphema), Petevizo Terhuja, gave a presentation on the training flow chart, participation of stakeholders, and interventions from departments and civil societies.

Office Assistant, SDEO Medziphema, Kuhokhe, elaborated on the strategies and objectives of the Abhiyan, underlining its aim to promote responsive, people-centric governance at the village and community level. He called upon stakeholders, youth and tribal communities to actively participate.

Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is described as India’s largest tribal grassroots leadership movement. In Nagaland, it will reach over one lakh tribals and cover 608 villages.

The programme was attended by stakeholders from various government departments and representatives from nine villages — Tsiepama, Medziphema, Pherima, Piphema, Molvom, Bungsang, Socunoma, Ruzaphema and Moava — along with the Chakroma Youth Organisation. An interactive session followed where resource persons responded to queries.
