Mokokchung, June 27 (MExN): A joint meeting between Social Concern Committee, ABAM and Bendang Lemtur, SP, Mokokchung was held at SP Office premises on June 27. A press note received here stated that the meeting was initiated by Social Concern Committee ABAM, led by Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger to discuss the current social issues especially the illegal trafficking of drug & alcohol in Mokokchung district.
The Committee requested SP to implement more on the rules and regulations of Nagaland Dry State Act. While speaking on this issue, SP has assured the committee that the Department will be more vigilant to the selling of alcohol and drug in the district. All the members deliberated on the same.
