DIMAPUR, JUNE 19 (MExN): The Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC) has stated that it was shocked to see itself among those beneficiaries “who are having close proximity with the higher ups” and listed in Serial No. (21) twenty one as of having received Rupees twenty lakhs (Rs. 20, 00000) for “Educational programme and implementation”. “The Angami Baptist Church Council categorically denies receiving any amount from the State Government and demands the concerned authority to reveal the name/names of those who have received the money in the name of ABCC”, stated a press note issued by Rev. Keviyiekielie Linyü , Executive Director, ABCC. The ABCC further stated that it “wishes to make known to all that the ABCC discourages the Church to seek contributions from the State Government for her ministry”.
