Kohima, January 14 (MExN): The Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC) Youth Convention will be held at IG Stadium Complex, Kohima from January 21 to 23 under its theme, “Come, follow me”-Mark 1:17. The convention will be hosted by Kohima Baptist Khriesarüü Krotho.
Rev. Keviyiekelie Linyü, Executive Director, ABCC, Denise de Vasconcelos Araujo, President, BWA Youth, Khrienuo Moa, Administrator, G. Rio School, Kohima, Rev.Dr. Rachülie Vihienuo, Pastor UBC and Vicavor Krose, Youth Director ABCC will be the panel of convention speakers on the topic ‘Come, follow me, why following Jesus? the joy of following Jesus, following Jesus in the Challenging world and Jesus the answer’ respectively.
Find new friends, Talent Nite, guitar recital, piano recital, male voice Accapela, solo quartet, Musical skit, tati ensemble, seminar on birth right, workshop, installation of new office bearers, special meal, declaration of next convention commitment etc will be some highlights of the convention.
The arrival day scheduled on January 21 by 10.00.AM onwards will be followed tea at 12.00.Noon and opening ceremony will be started by 1.00.PM onwards. “Halleluyah Chorus” will be opening chorus during the opening ceremony to be led by Khedi Youth, hence all participating churches are asked to come prepared with the same. According to the organizers, all participating churches are directed to bring own bed rolls and flags for the opening ceremony.
