ABVP delegate calls on Ayemi; assures to work for inter-state understanding and unity

Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): A delegate of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) called upon the MLA & Advisor (Tribal Affairs and Election Department) Government of Nagaland, Tovihoto Ayemi, at his residence on November 6.

The delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was part of the Students’ Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) tour which comprised of representatives from different states and different cultural background across the country.

In a press release received here, it state that the delegate apprised Ayemi about the objectives of their tour, which aimed to promote cultural exchange and foster inter-cultural closeness among communities across India.

It stated that the MLA lauded the initiative and encouraged the team members to act as “cultural ambassadors” spreading awareness about the country’s vast and diverse heritage.

“India is a large nation with many different cultures and religions, yet many people know little about one another despite living together under one nation,” stated the press release quoting Ayemi.

Emphasizing the role of youth in strengthening national unity, it stated that Ayemi emboldened the delegation by advising that it was the duty and responsibility of young people to educate each other, nurture communal harmony and promote peaceful coexistence among people of varied cultures, ethnicities, and religions.

Furthermore, the delegation expressed gratitude to the MLA & Advisor for his words of encouragement and assured that they would continue working to strengthen inter-state understanding and unity through cultural engagement.
