Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): The AC Cabin constructed in memory of Lt Mrs Imdangla Saku by the family members of Er T Saku Aier which was donated to DHD was dedicated by Rev Maong, Associate Pastor, DABA in a function held at the civil hospital, Dimapur. Dr. Temsu chaired the function while Dr. Mero, MS DHD in his welcome speech acknowledged the donor family saying that such donation is the first of its kind in the history of DHD.
Er T Saku Aier gave a brief account of the cabin and said that no money was raised except the gifted money donated by the well wishers during his ailing wife Imdangla and death as well as the expenditure money reimbursed from the benevolent medical department of the government. A total of Rs 7. 75 lakh was handed over the cabin along with inside room equipments to the DHD authority. His family also expressed gratitude to the DHD for the privilege and favour given in allowing constructing the cabin and enabling to donate it in memory of their beloved Lt Imdangla Saku.
Earlier, invocation was said by DHD chaplain Rev Mar Pongen while AN Supdt, HK Khing said the vote of thanks to the donor family.
