Dimapur , November 3 (MExN): Act of Kindness Society is organising a three-day Barista Skills Certification Workshop on November 24–26 at Coffeelady Roastery & Brews, Kuotsu Complex, Medziphema. The workshop, conducted by SCA-certified barista Atsi Jamir, will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, with lodging and meals provided for participants.
The intensive programme aims to equip youth with barista expertise, entrepreneurial skills, and knowledge of café management, including coffee fundamentals, espresso extraction, latte art, and customer service. Internship opportunities and certification will be provided to all trainees.
Limited seats are available, with scholarships for deserving candidates. Applicants must be at least Class 12 pass and submit a brief statement to actofkindness.dimapur@gmail.co explaining why they deserve the scholarship and how it will support their goals. Selected participants will be notified via email on November 16.
The initiative seeks to empower local youth, enhance employability, foster entrepreneurship, and promote café culture as a pathway to sustainable livelihoods.
