The 31st Convention of Angami Catholic Youth Association (ACYA) under the theme, "Celebrating Faith, Celebrating Culture," held at Mary Help of Christians, Cathedral in Kohima concluded on Sunday evening.
About 2000 believers, including nearly 700 delegates from the five Angami regions celebrated Eucharistic Mass with Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima as the main celebrant.
During the special mass, the Bishop invoked God's blessings upon the new ACYA team of office bearers.
Later, a handing and taking over program was held where outgoing ACYA president Medoneisa Marcus handed over charge to the incoming president Zeneikho Benedict.
Atuonuo Ruth from Northern ACYA region said it was "a special time of social bonding with believers from different regions."
