ADC Chiephobozou seeks inter-departmental cooperation for timely implementation of schemes

Chiephobozou, April 28 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner Chiephobozou Vekusheyi Rhakho has called on heads of offices under the sub-division to extend active cooperation in implementing government policies and developmental activities within stipulated timelines and with full accountability.

According to the State DIPR, the ADC made the appeal during the monthly sub-divisional coordination meeting held on April 28 at the ADC’s Office Chamber, Chiephobozou.

He stressed the need for departments to give due importance to various schemes and programmes so that implementation is carried out effectively and on schedule.

The meeting also discussed the upcoming Census enumeration and house-listing exercise. Rhakho stated that the process would require the collective effort of all concerned to ensure an accurate and clean Census. He further requested heads of offices to submit reports on their ongoing departmental activities and programmes on or before May 14.

Following the meeting, an awareness programme on the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat (BVMB) campaign, an initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, was held with the participation of various NGOs and departments.

Participants also took a pledge against child marriage. The programme was chaired by EAC Chiephobozou Viketoulie Metha, who highlighted the provisions of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006.
