Advanced training on skill proficiency management in Tuensang concludes

Tuensang, August 5 (MExN): The second phase of Skill Proficiency Management for Building and other construction workers Advanced Training of Trainers (TOT) was held at town hall, Tuensang on August 5.

A DIPR report stated that speaking at the training, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa thanked the organizer, Zynorique Initiative Society, for providing such trainings for the youth of Tuensang. She stated that in the fast changing world, skilled jobs are needed in every field and through skill development, employment opportunities can be found in both government and private sector. 

Rutsa stated that in Nagaland, a higher average of non-locals is employed in construction work because indigenous Nagas are unable to compete due to lack of skill development. She added that through this skill training, many local unemployed youth can easily seek job opportunities as an electrician, plumber and construction worker etc. She exhorted the trainees to put their minds into learning the knowledge imparted at the training and also stated that the Government provides various schemes and benefits for building and construction workers through the Department of Labour in the State.

Introduction to the training was highlighted by Tenempong Longchar Team Zynorique. The programme was chaired by EAC (P) Tuensang, Apuloka H Sumi while vote of thanks was delivered by Netenba Ajem Principal ITI Tuensang.
