MLA and Advisor for Food & Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology, GoN, and Chairman District Planning and Development Board Zunheboto, K Tokugha Sukhalu, visited Zunheboto Government College (ZGC), the lone college in Zunheboto district, on September 29.
During the visit, the Advisor interacted with the college administrator and held discussions on various aspects of the institution, including academic activities, the performance of teaching staff and students, and infrastructural requirements.
The discussions also covered the proposed extension of classrooms, construction of lecturers’ quarters, hostel facilities and an amphitheatre, among other infrastructure needs of the college.
Sukhalu also interacted with members of the teaching faculty and discussed grievances and challenges faced by teachers in their respective departments.
Addressing students gathered at the college auditorium, the Advisor encouraged them to remain sincere and dedicated towards their studies. He also advised students to exercise restraint in their exposure to modern technology and maintain focus on their academic pursuits.
Sukhalu was accompanied by the President and officials of the NPF Zunheboto Division and the District Planning Officer.
