HomeLane, an AI-enabled home interiors brand, launched its first studio in Northeast India in Chümoukedima on April 25, marking its entry into the region.

The studio has been set up in partnership with M/S Buildsworth Enterprises, led by Thejangulie Sale, and will offer end-to-end home interior solutions, including design, execution and installation. The facility is operated by local professionals.

The branch was inaugurated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Khose Sale, retired chief engineer, while the dedicatory prayer was offered by Lead Pastor of World Impact Community Church, Dimapur, Alemsunep Jamir.

Spread across 2,225 sq ft, the studio provides a physical experience space for modular kitchens, wardrobes and full-home interior designs. The company said it will utilise its proprietary platform, SpaceCraft, for design visualisation and pricing.

Speaking at the launch, Thejangulie Sale said homeowners in the area are increasingly seeking more structured and reliable interior solutions. Through this partnership, Sale said that it aims to combine local expertise with a technology-driven approach.

HomeLane Co-Founder and COO Tanuj Choudhry said the launch marks a strategic step in the company’s expansion into emerging markets, including the Northeast.

The company said it plans to scale up to 100 franchise-owned, franchise-operated (FOFO) studios across key markets this year and aims to establish seven studios in the Northeast by FY27.

Founded in 2014, HomeLane operates across 48 cities providing end-to-end home interior services. It is backed by marquee investors like Accel, Peak XV, Westbridge, Pidilite, and MS Dhoni.
