DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 3 (MExN): The AIDA, Don Bosco, Dimapur in collaboration with SBI Foundation, Mumbai, launched a flagship CSR programme, “SBI Gram Seva Program” on October 2 2020.
Since thenAIDA has been actively implementing the programme on the integrated socio-economic, rural infrastructural development and livelihood intervention in the 5 five adopted villages namely: Bade, Diezephe, Tsithrongse, Khriezephe and Urra of Chumoukedima/ Dimapur district.
The project was concluded after a term of 3 years on September 30.
During this period of 3 years, various community assets have been created and renovated to function consistently; livelihood activities have been initiated and services have been introduced in the villages which includes digitalization, quality education, healthcare facilities, water sanitation & hygiene (WaSH), women empowerment, youth development, community engagements, rural infrastructural developments and environmental activities , which were ideally the ten focused area of interventions of the SBI Gram Seva Program.
These assets created and renovated in the communities were handed over to the respective Village Councils with MoU signed between ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) and the Village Councils of the 5 adopted villages. The entire programme of the MoU signing was officiated by Rev. Fr. Roy George SDB, Executive Director and Chief Functionary of AIDA with the 5 adopted Village Council Chairmen, SMC Chairmen and Head Teacher of GMS of the 5 adopted villages.
