Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), as part of the SBI Gram Seva programme Dimapur, organised an interschool event to mark the 68th year of SBI Foundation Day on July 1.
The event was organised in convergence with the Government Middle Schools & Remedial students of 5 adopted villages, i.e., Khriezephe, Diezephe, Tsithrongse, Urra and Bade of the AIDA-SBI Gram Seva Programme.
The venue for 2023 Interschool Events was at Khriezephe village playground. For the event the special guest was Nyamo Jami, Sub Divisional-Education Officer, Dhansiripar and the guest of honour was Jyotiprakash Guru, Asst Manager, Operations SBIF, Mumbai.
SBI Foundation Day is celebrated on July 1 every year to commemorate the day of the establishment of India's oldest commercial bank and SBI celebrates its 68th Foundation Day this year.
Over 200 students participated in the events and more than 50 Guest who attended the programme. The objective of conducting the Interschool Event is to bring the students together and interconnect their talents by building good rapport among the students/teachers and the institution respectively. Activitiesand competitions includedvolley ball, relay race, football, spell bee, GK and 100 meter racein the senior’s category; and water filling, musical chair, balloon fight, spoon race and sweet bite in theJunior’s category.
The event ended with special appearance by Khriezephe students followed by prize distribution for the winners.
