Kohima, August 11 (MExN): As part of the commemoration of the 75th year of India’s Independence Day–‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ the Regional News Unit (RNU), All India Radio, Kohima is organizing Quiz programme titled ‘India@75 Quiz with AIR News’ to keep citizens informed and to raise the level of awareness about the aspects of India’s journey over the past 75 years.
Informing this in a press release on Wednesday, RNU Head Asonuo informed that the Regional News Unit AIR Kohima will ask a common question in the Regional News Bulletin (Nagamese & English) at 7:10 pm and 7:20 pm respectively starting August 12. The Quiz will be held every Thursday once in a week till August 15, 2022 or beyond. The idea is to space the Quiz programme into 75 episodes, it added.
Participants will have to send their answer at airnewskohimaindia75@gmail.com and the first correct reply received through email will be adjudged the winner of the quiz, the release stated. The name of the winner will be announced the next day during the Morning News Bulletins at 7:25 am and 7:30 am respectively.
As an encouragement, the winner will be given a small token of appreciation along with a certificate. Besides, the name of the winners will be flashed on AIR News Kohima’s official Twitter handle and Facebook page, the release stated.
The RNU informed that the programme is being organised in collaboration with Department of Information & Public Relations as the main sponsor, Government of Nagaland and co-sponsored by Kohima Press Club.
