The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) on Monday organised a candlelight service in memory of Imnayachet Mollier who was serving as AKM Social & Culture Secretary. Mollier was killed in a tragic accident on October 4, 2023.

Addressing the gathering, AKM President, Lanutoshi Aier witnessed that Imnayachet was vibrant, zealous personality who enthusiastically went about any work assigned to him. “His presence filled the office and with warmth and thus, his colleagues feel his absence dearly,” added Aier.

Also asserting that his untimely death is a loss for the entire Naga people, Aier said Imnayachet was travelling to Kohima on that fateful day to give a presentation on the AKM’s ‘Ariju Centre’ Project during a meeting with the Chief Secretary. In his closing remarks, the AKM President pleaded with the audience to support his family and AKM so that no more lives are lost and nothing similar occurs among the lives Imnayachet has left behind.

Temsüwati Kichu, Associate Pastor at Mokokchung Town Baptist Church exhorted everyone to treasure their memories rather than lament their losses. He added that the evidence of Imnayachet’s good deeds should serve as a channel of blessings.

The candlelight service was attended by Ao Senden, Watsü Mungdang, Mokokchung Law college students and well-wishers.
