Mokokchung, September 19 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has announced that its ultimatum issued on September 14, 2025 will remain in abeyance following consultations and the unified stand taken by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) at its Emergency Presidential Council meeting.
In a press statement, the AKM clarified that it stands in full solidarity with the RMSA Teachers 2016 batch and will abide by the collective decision and timeline already set forth by the Federation, which has granted a period of 10 days to the Government for necessary action.
“The AKM stands in full solidarity with the RMSA Teachers 2016 batch and shall abide by the collective decision and timeline already set forth by the Federation, which has granted a period of 10 (ten) days to the Government for necessary action,” the statement read.
The AKM also appealed to the Government to address the issue without delay. “We appeal the Government to treat this issue with the urgency it deserves and to resolve the matter within the stipulated timeframe given by the NSF,” it stated.
