Seen here, is 82 years old man, Ashü Konyak grinding Beetle nut (Tamul) at Langmeang village under Mon district. He said since he lost many of his teeth and cannot chew the hard Betel nuts, so he usually grinds and eat. Also, a middle aged man gives a broad smile showing his red stained tooth. It is said that in olden times, the practice of keeping stained teeth became the tradition of every men folks and said it is an embarrassment for men folks to keep their tooth white.
