DIMAPUR, APRIL 1 (MExN): The All Nagaland Mechanical Field Workers Association has strongly opposed the government's decision to hand over the official charge of an out going Chief Engineer, Mechanical to Engineer-in-Chief, NPWD instead of competent senior officers of the department.
The Association in a letter to the Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Works & Housing Department has requested the government to revoke the orders and to allow the outgoing Chief Engineer to hand over his charge to any of the senior SE of the department as per the earlier decision of the government.
The Association in a release issued by the President and the General secretary of the Association stated that it fully support the decision taken by the Mechanical Engineer’s Association for not handing over the charge of Chief Engineer, Mechanical to Engineer-in-Chief, NPWD.
