The ANATG 2015 batch has informed that the proposed hunger strike has been temporarily put on hold, following certain developments in the matter.

The call for hunger strike was decided on February 9  late evening with no response from the government.

Media Cell ANATG-2015 has further informed that the decision is not withdrawn permanently, but kept in abeyance, and further information will be intimated in due course.

Meanwhile the gathering on Tuesday will commence from 10 am onwards, with a change in venue due to unforeseen circumstances.

According to the Media Cell, the venue has been shifted to the roadside area near the entrance of NSF Solidarity Park, as the Solidarity Park itself has been booked for another programme which was conveyed to ANATG only late on Monday evening, necessitating the last-minute adjustment.

Meanwhile, ANATG has appealed to all its members to maintain discipline and refrain from any form of anti-social activity, stressing the importance of peaceful and responsible conduct.

Acknowledging the growing challenges faced by the agitating teachers, it has appealed its members stating "With a little more perseverance and collective strength", calling for solidarity among all members.
