Wokha, November 14 (DIPR): Five member team of the All Nagaland Field Worker’s Association (ANFWA) led by its President Inakhu Aye begin verification of Work Charge Employees of PWD (R&B) and Housing from November 8.
The team will cover the entire State of Nagaland for verification, which will culminate on March 28. The team visited Wokha District on November 8 and toured Sanis, Baghty and Bhandari Division and district Headquarter on November 14.
They also visited Wokha-Bokajan Road, where the Association appealed to the Government of Nagaland and the concern Department to allot fund and depute labourers for the maintenance of the road. They also urged the government to view the matter seriously as this road is one of the life line of not only the Lotha’s but the entire State and take up necessary step for the benefit of the people.The team also appealed to the Employees especially the Work Charge Labourers (WCL) to be regular and work with sincerity for the benefit of the society.
The ANFWA expressed gratitude to the E.E R&B and staff, Sr. S. P Wokha and District Administration Wokha for their support and co-operation extended during their visit at Wokha District.
The President (ANPWDFWA) was accompanied by General Secretary (ANPWDFWA) K. Atovi Awomi, Vice/President T. Yanger Ao, Joint/Secretary Imna Jamir and Central Executive Member, Imkong Yanger.
