Anganwadi workers attend refreshers course training organised by department of social welfare, Nagaland.
Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): The department of social welfare, Nagaland organised two days refreshers course training for the anganwadi workers under Niuland ICDS project on October 14 and 15. CDPO Niuland Asangla Jamir in a press release informed that the resource person Khehoto Sema, deputy director social welfare dwelt on the six ICDS components and also encouraged the workers to be sincere for the welfare of the community and wherein inculcate good teaching upon the children.
The second day programme included training on growth chart, MPR with practical and maintenance of various registers. The topic on health & nutrition, population control and HIV/AIDS were taught by Supervisor Y Vizheto Shohe and Y Shikato Jimo. The programme concluded with valedictory function chaired by CDPO Niuland Asangla Jamir.
