The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Mokokchung Unit celebrated its Silver Jubilee cum 29 State Level Hindi Divas, 2022 at the Aongza Ki, Mokokchung on September 16.
Short speeches were given by SD0 (Civil) Sentilong Ozukum, Col Vipul, Commandant 23 Assam Rifle, Mokokchung Battalion, Sentinenla, District Education Officer (DEO), and Runchulo Tep, President, All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Unit.
Sentilong Ozüküm, in his speech, stated that language is always associated with culture and that our perception of reality depends on the language we speak. He urged everyone to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
The DEO, Sentinenla, appreciated the work and effort of the Hindi teachers and congratulated the ANHTU on its silver jubilee celebration. She also emphasised upon a time, when there were schools with shortage of hindi teachers.
Senayangba Higher Secondary School presented the song Vande Mataram while students from Sumi School, presented a dance. A minute of silence was also observed for the departed Hindi teachers.
The jubilee souvenir was unveiled by the DEO, Mokokchung. Students from different schools and members from various NGOs including the Ao Senden, Watsü Mungdang and Aongza Ward Council attended the celebration.
