Dignitaries and others at the annual review meeting of DMU, NFMP, Phek on April 30
Kohima, May 1 (MExN): Divisional Management Unit (DMU) NFMP, Phek held its Annual Review Meeting for the financial year 2021- 2022 on April 30 at Divisional Forest Office Phek.
Divisional Forest Officer & DMU Head Thepfuhusie, IFS, expressed happiness that the implementation phase is progressing smoothly post the pandemic and encouraged the JFMCs, Field Management Units and project staffs to work diligently and with vigour so that the project is implemented in a time bound manner.
Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) & ADMU Head Dzuthovito Lcho gave an overview of the project after which the team deliberated on the component wise activity, it's challenges and hindrances during implementation of the project.
Pfutsero Range Officer & FMU Head Jweni Semp gave a detailed progress of project implementation both in Batch-I and II villages under his range.
Meluri Range Officer & FMU Head Rhevitho Ngouri also presented a detailed progress of implementation. The Team Leader FNGO (Foundation for Ecological Security) Yaranajit Deka highlighted on the activities of the NGO at the field level and gave status updates of IGA activities carried out with the SHGs under the project.
The JFMCs of 7 project villages under Phek Division attended the Annual Review meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Mulekho Rio (CB,IEC & Documentation Expert) and concluded with vote of thanks by Jweni Semp, RFO Pfutsero Range.
