DIMAPUR, APRIL 6 (MExN): With police yet to crack two murder cases that occurred in the past two months in Dimapur, a third has taken place. On Saturday, April 6, one woman was found dead with her throat slit and stab wounds to the abdomen. The body was found this afternoon in the outskirts of Seitheke Basa village. Mongoloid in appearance and around 40 years of age, the identity of the deceased is unknown. A kitchen knife, suspected to be the murder weapon was found near the body. Finger-prints, if any, on the knife might provide crucial lead for the police in their investigation to apprehend the perpetrator(s).
