All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association Central held its 43rd Annual General Body Meeting at NBCC Platinum Hall, Kohima on October 16.

Kohima, October 17 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Central held its 43rd Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) at NBCC Platinum Hall, Kohima on October 16. Held with the theme “From Challenges to Opportunities: Reimagining Education for the Next Generation,’ the AGBM was graced by Kethosituo Sekhose, Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland as the special guest.

In his address, Sekhose lauded the private schools for the high literacy rate in the country thanked the private schools for the support and participation in the first ever Catch Them Young U 14 State Level Sepak Thakraw Tournament which was conducted in collaboration with the private schools. He encouraged the private schools to coordinate with the parents to get more students to participate in different disciplines, stated a press release. 

Speaking on the theme, ANPSA President, Nini Sekhose underscored the core challenges faced by the private schools and encouraged the members to convert such challenges into opportunities and work for the betterment of the student community. 

Earlier, in the key note session, Sekhose presented the Association’s achievements in the last one year. Leneno Y Disong presented the Treasurer’s report and PJ Nathan read out the Secretary’s report. Senior Advisor Phelhoupfelie Kesezie presented the report of the Search Committee and announced the new team of office bearers for the term 2026-2028, which will be headed by Bithungo Kikon. 

The other members include Rev Fr Jacob Charalel, Ketholuo Sekhose, Zhopota Rhakho, Nzanbeni Tsopoe, Benisha Keppen and PJ Nathan with Nini Sekhose, Phelhoupfelie Kesezie and Imlongchaba. 

Rev Fr Jacob Charalel, Vice President ANPSA Central invoked God’s blessings and Imlongchaba, Advisor ANPSA Central pronounced the closing prayer. Altogether 70 members from 12 different districts attended the AGBM.
