The Advisor for All Nagaland Private Schools' Association Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, today reflected on the growing global concerns surrounding oil supply and its potential impact on the automobile sector. Referring to reports about tensions around the Gulf, he noted that India imports a large portion of its oil requirements from abroad and that disruptions in supply routes could significantly affect fuel availability.

He observed that such developments highlight the risks of heavy dependence on fossil fuels and suggested that the automobile industry may increasingly shift towards alternative energy solutions such as electric vehicles.

At the same time, he remarked that technological advancement should not make people forget the simplest and most reliable form of mobility—human physical movement—describing it as a “God-given transportation system.”

Kesiezie expressed hope that the new outlet would grow successfully and generate employment opportunities for young people, adding that expanding automobile businesses across the country can contribute to livelihood creation and economic development.

He was speaking at the inauguration of Seyie Auto’s Maruti Suzuki True Value Outlet along the Kohima–Chakhabama road, below the BSF Camp on March 11.

Dealer Principal of Seyie Auto, Kuolachalie Seyie, outlined the company’s journey since its establishment. He said Seyie Auto began operations in April 2018 with an Arena showroom at Tinpatti, Kohima, and gradually expanded its network over the years.

Highlighting the significance of the newly inaugurated True Value outlet, he explained that the facility is designed to facilitate the purchase and resale of pre-owned vehicles. Under the system, used vehicles are thoroughly verified for their history and condition before being purchased and resold to customers.

He added that the vehicles sold through the outlet will be provided with warranty and fresh documentation, making them reliable options for customers who may not be able to afford brand-new vehicles.

Describing the initiative as an important service to society, Seyie said the True Value outlet would help make vehicles more accessible while also supporting customers looking to exchange their old vehicles for new ones.
