ANPSA Chümoukedima holds inter-school meet

Chümoukedima, October 8 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Chümoukedima Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, organised an Inter-School Meet 2026 at the 1st NAP Battalion Unit Ground, Chümoukedima on October 8.

The meet featured U-20 boys’ football and U-16 girls’ volleyball competitions, with students from private schools across the Chümoukedima Unit participating.

Chairman of the Chümoukedima Town Council, Lhousito Khro, who attended the event as the special guest, encouraged students to make the best use of their student life and avail themselves of opportunities available to them. Khro also appreciated the ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit for organising the event and promoting sports participation among young people.

The programme was led by ANPSA Co-Convenor Imti, while the invocation was offered by Rev Fr Anthony Samy, Principal of Carmel Higher Secondary School. Convenor Bendangchuba delivered the welcome address. Students of NPCS, Chümoukedima presented an aerobic dance performance.

The ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit comprises 48 schools. The association said the meet provided a platform for students from across the unit to participate in sports and foster sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and healthy competition.
