The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Kohima unit in collaboration with Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) organized a Music Contest at RCEMPA, Jotsoma on August 27.

Gracing the inaugural function, Theja Meru, Advisor, TaFMA, Nagaland, challenged the students to work hard to excel in their academic career. He said that hard work is the key to success.

A total of 16 schools have participated in Double Quartet, 8 schools in Guitar Ensemble and 24 schools in Solo competition.

AG High School, Azedon School, Chandmari Higher Secondary School,  Charity School, Christ King Higher Secondary School, Christian Mission School Sechü, Dainty Buds, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Fernwood school, Holy Family Higher Secondary School, Jo Foundation Inclusive School, Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Mezhur Higher Secondary School,  Minister’s Baptist Higher Secondary School, Model Higher Secondary School, Mount Hermon Higher Secondary School, Northfield, Oking Christian School, Public School Dzüvürü, Stella Higher Secondary School, The Vineyard and Trinity School joined the contest.

Earlier, welcome address was delivered by ANPSA Kohima unit general secretary Kepelhouto Nakhro while ANPSA Kohima unit president Zhopota Rhakho invoked God’s blessing.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Fr. C.J, Jaison, principal, St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School Kohima.

The judges for the competition included Kekhrie-ü Suokhrie, Khriekethozo Sekhose and Samuel Thapa.
