ANSTA supports implementation of career scheme

DIMAPUR, APRIL 17 (MExN): The ANSTA Tseminyu Unit expressed its solidarity with Central ANSTA on its ultimatum on ACP Scheme stating that the granting of two financial up-gradation which has been provided as per the provision of Assured Career Progression (ACP) for employees of Nagaland Government has been described in group ‘B’ and ‘C’ in completion of 12 and 24 years of regular services.

The Unit in a press communiqué issued by Walachu Kath and Robert Magh stated that the Finance Department order No. Fin/ROP/19/2001 dated Kohima the 23rd March 2005 on ACP Scheme under point no.1 for teachers was uncalled for and unjustified because Senior Grade Scale is neither promotional scale nor it is the next higher scale as it has been incorporated since 1993 and 1999 ROP respectively.

Similarly financial benefits were accorded during the 1975, 1983 and 1984 ROPs. As such should not be treated and equalized under the ACP Scheme’ it stated.

The Unit expressed its appreciation to Central ANSTA for taking up the issue for the implementation of ACP and approaching the Government for the implementation of the Scheme.

The Unit however expressed its dismay at the Department concerned for their failure to address the genuine demands of the teachers even after the submission of many representations and holding official discussions with the department concerned. “The Unit says that it fails to understand why the Government and the Department concerned has not done anything in this regard”.

The Unit, however expressed its optimism that the Government would consider the genuine demand of the teachers and would address the grievances of the teacher at the earliest because the Association (ANSTA) has given enough time to the Government and the Department concerned to address the grievances of the teachers and appeal to the Government and the Department concerned to implement the ACP Scheme.
