ANTA Hq Kohima honours children of members for academic excellence

The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Hq Kohima honoured HSLC and HSSLC topper and 1st division holders belonging to children of its members.

In a felicitation programme held at ISBT Kohima on May 17, the Association honoured HSLC Top 10 achiever Nokkai Delimth, s/o Langkai Konyak (From Goraggio School Kohima) and other 25 1st division holders under HSLC and 15 1st division holders under HSSLC. Delimth was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with citation while all 40 first division holders received Rs 5000 each.

Addressing the achievers, Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) President Er Medozhazo Rutsa congratulated all the candidates who had conquered the formidable hurdles of the HSLC and HSSLC exams. “Your hard work, perseverance, and unwavering determination have brought you this far. And today, you stand as proof that nothing is impossible when you set your mind to it,” he said.

He also told them to uphold the principles of determination, dedication and devotion in their hunt for excellence in life.

Er Rutsa said that success is never accidental but a result of persistent effort and encouraged the achievers to dream big, work hard, stay disciplined, and never settle for less.
Stating that the road ahead is full of challenges, he said “There will be obstacles, failures, and moments of doubt. But remember that “A, N, T, A” will be your armor.”

“Let your Ambition drive you. Nurture your mind and character. Be Tenacious in the face of adversity. And let your Achievements be the proof of your greatness,” he told the students.

Acknowledging the parents' sacrifices, he said, "As taxi drivers, your tireless efforts to secure a better future for your children are the foundation of this success,” he said and urged upon the parents to keep guiding and motivating their children.

He further inspired them by saying, "You are Nagaland’s future. The future belongs to those who dare to dream and refuse to quit. Stand tall, work hard, stay humble, and keep your eyes on the prize."

‘Work harder to achieve greater success’
Also speaking on the occasion, Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) president Vibeituo Belho challenged the students to work harder to achieve greater success.

He also thanked ANTA for always working for the welfare of taxi drivers and their family.

Chairing the programme, ANTA Hq Kohima president Dziesevituo Solo encouraged the parents to allow their children the freedom to choose their careers and higher studies.
Solo informed that ANTA Hq Kohima has conceived the felicitation programme to support drivers' family in the field of education.

Earlier, Bethel Baptist Church Kohima pastor Avilie Punyii invoked God’s blessings.

The presentation of award was led by Victor Rutsa while vote of thanks was proposed by Aphrelie Suokhrie, vice president ANTA Hq. Kohima.
