MOKOKCHUNG, APRIL 17 (DIPR): A reconciliation day was held on 12th April at Longmisa village between the Chuchuyimlang and Longmisa villagers under Mokokchung District.
A resolution to forgive and forget the age old bitter feuds and to start a new beginning with mutual and cordial understanding between the two villages of Chuchuyimlang Kosasanger Putu (Council) and Longmisa Mopongsanger Putu was adopted.
The auspicious day was celebrated with house to house visitation, songs of praise, valour and good tidings. A prayer meeting was also held to evoke God’s blessing and guidance for future generations.
